Board Description
Meckel
Meckel, the first of the four lands of Apenbaring, is settled along the coast, its length greatly dominant compared to its width. The Aredhel call this land their home, choosing it for their roost mainly because of its difficult accessibility from the inlands of Apenbaring. Often the last breed to practice hospitality, the Aredhel are seen as arrogant by their fellow horses, an opinion strongly backed by centuries of hostility. Their tradition of perfectionism is apparent in the rolling dunes, hardy (though beautiful) shrubbery, and immaculate caves in Meckel. It is not uncommon for the waves that kiss Meckel’s snow-sanded beaches to unearth hidden treasures, such as pearl-bearing oysters and seaglass.
