OUT OF CHARACTER/GENERAL RULES
-Please have common courtesy. Our policy on racism is the same as any other RPG you may have been on. It is not tolerated and will result in a ban. The same goes for sexism and the majority of those other "isms."
-Swearing is allowed, just keep it within reason.
-Don't stretch the boards with signature images. It's incredibly annoying.
-Try to post at least 250 words. It's really not that hard.
-Your first character must be admin or moderator approved prior to posting. Subsequent characters can be used immediately once you have proven yourself.
-While horses in Apenbaring are immortal, they are not invulnerable to injury or death; you are safe only from old age.
-If you should piss Death off, don't complain about what he does to you. You've been warned.
FIGHTING
-Stallions may fight over lands, positions, or mares
-Mares may fight over positions or foals
-Stallions have the natural advantage in battle, but can be beaten by mares if they (you) are very skilled.
-Foals may not fight
-Please state your own rules when challenged
-Fighting must take place in The Mesa
-If the battle is to be to the death, this must be stated in the rules of the challenge and agreed upon by BOTH parties.
-Amaryk must be notified of a fight in order for a victor to be chosen.
BREEDING
-Stallions may produce offspring 3 times per season
-Mares may produce offspring 1 time per season
-Stallions may breed at the age of three.
-Mares may breed at the age of four.
-Any breeding after the maximum number of offspring results in a stillborn.
-Foals' stats will be determined by an admin.
HERDS
-A herd may only be run by a stallion.
-The hierarchy of a herd may be decided by the lead stallion.
-Both stallions and mares may join herds, as there is a limited number of claimable lands.
[/color]ROYALS
-The first royals will be decided either by contest or by vote. Then, they may be challenged after a four week reigning period.
-Royals get a two week resting period after a fight.
-Royals, like land-owning stallions, set their terms for the fight.
-The opposition may also propose extra terms, but may be rejected.
-If a challenge is stated for a Queen position, the King must approve.
-Kings may dismiss Queens and bring in new ones.
-Royals may give the death penalty, but must be approved by Messiah.
-Royals may proclaim war on other alliances.
-Any punishment besides death does not have to be admin-approved.
